Since being given a paint set David has become an enthusiastic artist, and painting has become an important part of his life. Working from his home on The Lizard in Cornwall, David takes inspiration from the local environment, especially the coastal landscape. Having progressed in his choice of materials, David now mostly uses oils and prefers painting on board as he finds it allows him to make the kind of marks he finds most inspiring.
