Jon Evison lives and works on Cornwall’s North Coast.
His work embraces an extensive range of materials and techniques including painting, printmaking and mixed media work, often with found materials. Through these many mediums, he hopes to evoke memories of coastline experiences.
As an artist and surfer, Jon is constantly drawn to the ocean and aims to portray its many moods that are constant change, breathtaking power, and sometimes immensely dangerous. Living in the West Country he aims to use the experiences and skills that he has gained and apply them to the most important influences in his work: the Cornish sea and landscape.
