Bridget was born and bred in Devon. She has a passion for nature and the place that she comes from which she uses to create her gorgeous Cyanotype textiles and cards.
Cyanotype, often called Sun Printing is an old technique of primitive photography pioneered by Botanist Anna Atkins in the 1840’s who collected seaweed and used the cyanotype method to record and label her specimens to make several books that are still available in Museums around the world.
Bridget's current work uses the Cyanotype technique to hand make Sun Printed Lampshades, other household objects and cards.
