Rhiannon Mann Ceramics

Rhiannon is a hobby potter based in Cornwall making ceramic animal sculptures, jewellery and functional vessels. 

lHer first career path was in the field of archaeology and this highlighted the understanding of the importance of ceramic development as an indicator of human evolution.

She enjoys using hand-building techniques on sculptures and other objects with a growing interest in slip casting. Experimentation with firing methods is continuing as she strives to learn more about the chemistry of glazes and raku methods.

Decoration of her work regularly features the precision of linear decoration as well as the use of doily imprints or decal transfers.
