The book portrays real-life events nestled in a fantasy fairy tale forest environment.
Sarah hopes the book could help to other children that may be struggling to understand or come to terms with an illness or long term condition.

In the book Sarah's identical twin sister Katie, is suddenly diagnosed with type 1 Diabetes. Her family and most importantly Katie, must learn how to overcome this obstacle and live within the new reality she faces as she returns to school.

Sarah is a children's book illustrator and author based in Cornwall.
She has always had a passion for drawing and creating, so much so she went on to study Illustration at Falmouth arts university , graduating in 2019. Sarah loved life down by the sea so much, she never left!

As well as creating her art, Sarah loves sea swims (preferably with a wet suit on) , walks through the local forests, knitting scarves badly and a good cup of tea.
