Les graduated from Falmouth School of Art in 1985 before going on to pursue a career
as an Art Therapist and other roles in the NHS. Following retirement in 2021 he moved
back to Falmouth to take up his brushes again and start creating.

He describes his work as figurative and quite traditional in style focusing mainly on landscapes. The main influences on my work are 1930’s railway posters, late 19th
century landscape painting and the work of the Canadian ‘Group of Seven’,

Since moving back to Falmouth I have exhibited at:-

exhibition with Dave Pentin and Alli Marshall.
