Portheras is a not so secret, secret cove just east of  Pendeen Lighthouse. The walk along the coast path is as  magical as the coastline it hugs. The walk takes you through its own microclimate encouraging a wealth of  plants. Down by the stream and onto the beach where at exceptionally low tide a wreck can be visited if you are lucky
