MIxed Media with Diane King - NORTHUMBERLAND 6th September 2024

Join us for a week of the 6th of September 2024 for some mixed media exploration and sketching in the gorgeous county of Northumberland on the 13th of September 2024.

During this 7-night residential course which will include all your meals, you will be creating a journal of sketches and studies alongside experimenting in tutorial sessions with a wide range of art media including watercolours, acrylics, ink, oil pastels, wax crayons, and fiber tip pens, in inventive combinations. 


Diane King is an experienced tutor who has been working with Sketchtrips for over ten years delivering courses all over the UK and in Europe. Our outings during the week will take us sketching in and around the towns of Embelton, Alnwick, and Bamburgh as well as the famous Northumberland coastline

Our accommodation for the week is in Embelton in a stunning period property near the sea. There is free WiFi and parking on-site, a garden with views and if you fancy a wander, there is a gate that gives access to the main street into the village, where you’ll find shops, pubs, and restaurants, as well as the conveniently located pub right next door to the property.
